Product description
Winery Introduction
During the period of Louis XIV, the Bagafu Manor was a famous hunting palace. In 1815, Guillaume Lawton took over the manor, and the manor became the first Bordeaux column-level celebrity. Chateau Belgrave (also known as Baijiafu Castle) is a five-tiered village in Medoc, located in the village of Saint-Laurent, next to the village of Saint-Julien. . The estate was originally named as a five-level village in 1855 in the name of Chateau Coutenceau. The name of the estate of Bagaffe was not taken from the first-class gravel soil in its vineyard, but from the residence of a British landlord in the estate. “An uptown residential area called Belgravia”, which is the reason why the estate changed from Chateau Coutenceau to Chateau Belgrave. At present, Bagaf Manor is owned by the Dourthe family and owns 59 hectares of vineyards. It is one of the oldest special grade gardens in Medoc. The winery hired Michel Rolland, the famous “Floating Winemaker”, to serve as winemaking consultant. He attached great importance to the management of vineyards and established the spacing between the rows of grapes after studying the surface soil and water content. To ensure grape ripening rate. In addition, the vines carry out artificial combing, pruning and combing of all vines, and perform secondary leaf rinsing during grape rotation to ensure that the vines are evenly ripened.

Region Introduction
The vast area of Shangmei is used only for grazing and not for grape growing. In the 17th century, in order to make wines here to replace the Portuguese and British wines that dominated the market at that time, Dutch merchants implemented an ambitious drainage project on the swamp to develop it into a viable grape. Garden area. Soon, the Shangmeidu producing areas including St. Julien, Margaux, Puyle and St Estephe were formed. By the 19th century, Shangmeidu production area had become France's most prosperous wine producing area, and by the end of the 20th century, it had won the top international reputation.
